Diedro is a measuring instrument for iPhone: a bubble level, a corner gauge and a true-scale ruler. This policy explains what the app accesses and what it does with it. The short version: nothing you measure leaves your iPhone, and the app does not send anything anywhere.
While the level or the corner gauge is on screen, Diedro reads the direction of gravity and the orientation of the phone from the motion sensor (gyroscope and accelerometer; never the compass). It is used only to draw the reading you see, entirely on your device. It is never recorded in the background, transmitted, or shared with the developer or with any third party.
Your settings (the unit of the ruler, which thumb gets the Hold button, how long the phone must be still, haptics) and the zero you set for the level are stored locally on your device only. They are not synced to iCloud or to any server and are not accessible to the developer. Deleting the app deletes them.
Diedro does not require an account and makes no network requests. The only links in the app are to this page and to the support page, and they open in your browser.
Diedro does not use any analytics or advertising SDKs, does not show ads, and does not track you across apps or websites. It contains no third-party software that collects anything.
Diedro is not directed at children under 13, and does not knowingly collect personal information from children — or from anyone else.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date, before the version of the app that needs them is released.
