A heist game for iPhone Duo, played with the hinge.
Each night of the story is a row of rooms, each with its own alarm: safes, a lock to pick, a jammed door, lasers, the getaway. In a safe the hinge is the dial: open or close the phone to each number and hold still until it clicks. If something isn't working, the answers below cover the most common cases — anything else, email us.
Tap Play, or open the phone to 90° and hold it there for a moment. Holding also measures how steady your hand is and sets how much margin each round gives you; tapping Play uses the standard margin.
Close the phone, or tap the pause button. The round waits for you, and opening the phone again carries on where you left off. That is also why no target ever asks you to close it all the way.
From the second safe on, the numbers are hidden: you find them by ear. The dial ticks on every degree; as you get close the ticks grow louder and heavier, and the number itself answers with a click. Headphones help.
On an iPhone without a hinge, the phone itself is the lid. Lay it flat on a table — that is fully open, 180° — and lift its top edge. Every degree you lift counts as two, so the screen stays in view: halfway up reads 90°, and standing it upright closes the lid, which pauses the game. The game says on screen when it is using tilt instead of a hinge.
The sound follows the Ring/Silent switch, so check that your iPhone is not in Silent mode, and that the sound button in the game says it is on. Some rounds are silent on purpose.
Check that vibration is on in Settings › Sounds & Haptics.
Your best score is kept on this device only. It is not backed up to an account, so deleting the app resets it.
If you bought the unlock and a device doesn't show it, open the page that unlocks any way to play and tap Restore purchase. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy it.
