Privacy Policy for Rob the Phone

Last updated: October 14, 2026

Rob the Phone is a game for iOS. This policy explains what information the game uses and what it does with it. In short: what it keeps stays on your device, and the only thing it ever sends is a check of what you have bought.

The hinge and motion sensors

On iPhone Duo the game reads the angle of the hinge while you play. On an iPhone without a hinge it reads which way gravity points instead, so the phone can act as the lid. Both readings are used on your device, only while the game is open, and are never stored or sent anywhere.

What is stored

Your best scores, your progress and whether sound is on are stored on your device. There is no account and no sign-in, nothing is synced to iCloud, and the developer cannot see any of it. Deleting the app deletes them.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

Rob the Phone does not use any analytics or advertising SDKs, and does not track you across apps or websites.

In-app purchases

Every way to play in Rob the Phone can be tried for free; one optional purchase, through Apple's standard in-app purchase system, unlocks them for good. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; the game never receives or stores your payment information. To know whether you have bought it, the game asks RevenueCat, a purchase management service, with a random identifier made on your device — not your name, your email or your Apple Account. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Children's privacy

Rob the Phone does not collect personal information from anyone, children included.
